The Malta Mustangs basketball team picked up a pair of victories last weekend, defeating Class A's Havre Blue Ponies 69-63 in Malta on Friday, January 18, and the Wolf Point Wolves 91-51 in Wolf Point on Saturday, January 19.
The Mustangs will host the Harlem Wildcats on Friday, January 24, with games scheduled to start at 3 p.m. Malta will travel to Poplar on Saturday, January 25, to take on the Poplar Indians. Games are scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
In the team's victory over Havre, Malta was led by senior Treyton Wilke, who had 19 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
