Lady Coyotes Pick Up Win Over Box Elder JV

The Dodson Lady Coyotes picked up their first win of the season on Friday, January 17, as they defeated the Box Elder Lady Bears JV team 47-38 in Box Elder.

The Lady Coyotes lost 83-7 to the Circle Lady Wildcats on Saturday, January 18.

The Dodson teams are scheduled to host the Scobey teams on Friday, 24. The girls' varsity game will start at 5:30 p.m. and the boys' varsity game will take place at 7 p.m.

Dodson will also host North Country on Saturday, January 25. The girls' varsity game will tip off at 4 p.m. and the boys' varsity game will start at 5:30 p.m.

In their victory over Box Elder's JV team, the Lady Coyotes were led by Precious Stiffarm who had a 16 point, 25 rebound double-double as well as four steals, and three assists.

Cyrie Spotted Wolf had 13 points and seven rebounds. Tissie Webb had nine points, five rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Bentlie Ereaux had six points. Kyra Campbell had three points, three steals, two rebounds, and two assists.

The Lady Coyotes outscored Box Elder 12-8 in the first quarter. Box Elders kept pace in the second quarter, holding Dodson to 10 points, while scoring 12. Dodson outscored Box Elder 25-18 in the second half of the game, and led by as much as 13 points.
