FYI: Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2025 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2025, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2025 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2024 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2024. Call PCSO, 406-654-2350, to let Dispatch know of your controlled burn before you start, as a courtesy. Thank you!

Concealed Weapon Permits:

New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.

All fingerprints that are needed for CWPs, schools, licensing or anything else are done from 9am to NOON every Wednesday.
