M-ettes Fall to Havre, Subvarsity Wins in Poplar

The Malta M-ettes basketball team battled hard in their final game of 2024, but fell 67-56 to the Havre Lady Blue Ponies 67-56 on Tuesday, December 17, in Havre.

The sub-varsity teams saw success in Poplar last weekend, defeating the Glasgow and Wolf Point JV and C teams.

The M-ettes are not scheduled to face another opponent until their long awaited home opener against the Fairview Warriors on Friday, January 3, at the Malta High School Gymnasium.

In their loss to Havre, Malta was led by Denvyr Tuss who had a double-double consisting of 18 points and 17 rebounds. Tuss also had two steals.
