M-ettes Defeat Reigning Champs, Fall to Huntley Project

This week, Phillips County varsity basketball teams won each game that they participated in. The Malta Mustangs and M-ettes competed in Shelby at the Coyote Classic, while the North Country Mavericks and Lady Mavericks competed in Lewistown.

The Malta varsity teams were scheduled to face the Havre Blue Ponies in Havre on Tuesday, December 17. Results from that game will be in the December 25 issue of the PCN.

The North Country varsity teams will head to Frazer to take on the Bearcubs on Friday, December 20. The games start at 4 p.m. The Mavericks and Lady Mavericks will then face the Dodson Co...
