One Nation, Under God
Every place is festive with lights twinkling, even though there is a few miles between the farms! Loring Lutheran Church will be celebrating Jesus’s birth on Christmas Eve with a candle lit service at 5:30. No Sunday service until 2025!
At this time of year I usually reflect on my life and what’s happened in the last year. This year I’m thankful for basically good health. I had no hospital stays, no falls and no car accidents. My sight is my most irritating loss, but I can still see. I play corn hole, swim, and do my own cleaning and cooking. I have many new acquaintances and so many friends from before I moved! I love getting to do activities with them. I am truly blessed by having my family so close.
I hope you all have looked up in the early evening and spotted Jupiter close to the moon. It is a beautiful sight. Yes I can see that!
Ten artists gathered together and painted Christmas cards with me this Saturday! They did fantastic! The Lady Mavericks have continued on the winning trend. Keep working hard Ladies! The
Mavericks are working together and winning games too! And the Malta Mustangs and M-ettes won all their games this last weekend too! So it’s a winning Phillips County Basketball season so far! I didn’t see how Dodson did, but I’m sure they are still putting it down!
Have a Merry Christmas and remember the blessings you’ve received!
