Concealed Weapon Permits:
New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.
Just a reminder if you are in need of emergency services, call 911. If you are in need of a fire truck, an ambulance or law enforcement, call 911.
The EMS and Fire Dept offices are not manned 24/7. The Sheriff’s Office is open 24/7 every day of the year, including holidays, and the Dispatcher will get you the assistance you are needing.
November 27, 2024
1:10 p.m. Sheriff transported one adult male, Emmitt Boschee, from PCSO Jail to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time on sentencing.
7:20 p.m. 911 received reporting a two vehicle accident on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputy responded; case file started.
November 28, 2024
8:19 a.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Malta area.
11:11 a.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.
November 29, 2024
12:28 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Whitewater and Hwy 191 north areas.
9:04 p.m. Male reported receiving threats from individuals; Deputies responded; found to be a verbal dispute over dogs.
November 30, 2024
9:01 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport; EMT Crew handled the call.
9:35 a.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Dodson, Wagner and Hwy 363 areas.
10:29 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female who fell; EMT Crew handled the call.
9:16 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Shade Stiles, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Probation & Parole warrant.
11:01 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Malta area.
December 1, 2024
2:06 a.m. Deputy performed business security checks in the downtown Malta area.
10:03 a.m. Buckhorn Store requested assistance with a homeless person; Sheriff handled the call.
December 2, 2024
3:02 a.m. Sheriff performed building and residential security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
4:12 a.m. Female reported a disabled vehicle on Hwy 363, near Four Corners; Sheriff responded; vehicle located, all was okay, just waiting for help to arrive.
5:57 a.m. Sheriff performed building and residential security checks in the Whitewater and Hwy 191 north areas.
1:53 p.m. Female reported a stolen vehicle; Sheriff responded; vehicle found to have been towed by the property owner the vehicle was parked on; vehicle later returned to the owner.
2:01 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a “speed bump on a county road”; Sheriff and PC Commissioners handled the call.
4:56 p.m. PCSO Deputies, Malta FD and Malta Ambulance reported to the downtown area for the Parade of Lights.
December 3, 2024
5:17 a.m. Sheriff performed building and residential security checks in the Loring, Port of Morgan and Hwy 191 north areas.
11:15 a.m. City of Malta employee reported damage to the Trafton Park arena grounds; Sheriff handled the call.
4:34 p.m. Male reported an abandoned vehicle west of Dodson, on the north side of the railroad tracks; Deputy responded; no one found in the area; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.
5:50 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
4:56 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance to transport a patient to the hospital; local EMT Crew handled the call.
8:14 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Malta area.
9:53 p.m. 911 received requesting law enforcement for an animal that was hit on Hwy 2 and was still alive; Deputy responded and humanely euthanized the fox.
December 4, 2024
8:24 a.m. Blaine Co SO received a call reporting a structure fire at a Zortman residence; call came from a mentally ill individual and there was no fire at the reported location.
8:57 a.m. Sheriff and Deputy, along with 14 other law enforcement agencies, responded to a Zortman residence for an incident involving a mentally ill individual; local EMT Crew and FD also responded to the call; case file started.
2:14 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/tree accident near Wagner; Deputy responded; white form issued.
December 5, 2024
10:45 a.m. One adult female, Adele Payne, was taken into custody on a local warrant charge, criminal endangerment X3, and resisting arrest.
11:10 a.m. Local Ambulance transported a patient to the PC Hospital for a mental evaluation.
12:48 p.m. Male reported individuals trespassing on his property in Landusky; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.
1:43 p.m. Female reported receiving a suspicious phone call.
1:59 p.m. Female reported forgery to her bank account; Deputy responded; case file started.
