FYI:All fingerprints that are needed for CWPs, schools, licensing or anything else are done from 9am to NOON every Wednesday.

Concealed Weapon Permits:
New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.
Just a reminder if you are in need of emergency services, call 911. If you are in need of a fire truck, an ambulance or law enforcement, call 911.
The EMS and Fire Dept offices are not manned 24/7. The Sheriff’s Office is open 24/7 every day of the year, including holidays, and the Dispatcher will get you the assistance you are needing.
November 11, 2024
2:06 p.m. Male brought in a found cell phone; he advised it was located near the Hwy 2/Mackey Square junction west of Malta; Deputy contacted the owner and the phone was returned.
9:14 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.
November 12, 2024
6:54 a.m. Female reported a missing elderly male in the south Saco area; Sheriff, Deputies, Border Patrol Agents responded to the call; male later reported to have returned to his residence and was okay.
9:17 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for the male who had been missing overnight; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient refused transport to the PC Hospital and was taken by personal vehicle to Glasgow.
11:47 a.m. Female reported two dogs running loose in the downtown area; dogs not located.
12:14 p.m. Ft Belknap LE received a report of an erratic semi-truck and trailer on Hwy 2, eastbound from their area; Sheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.
1:05 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
6:18 p.m. Female reported an injured deer on Hwy 2, near the weigh station; Deputy responded to the call; deer was deceased upon arrival and removed from the Hwy.
6:47 p.m. 911 received reporting a full-size vehicle on the dike in Trafton Park; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles located, had not been on the dike; no tracks located on the dike as well.
November 13, 2024
11:32 a.m. Male reported a theft of medications through the mail; Sheriff responded to the call; case file started.
2:36 p.m. Male reported an erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, eastbound, from the Sleeping Buffalo area; information passed onto Valley Co SO.
2:42 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female involved in an ATV accident in Zortman; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.
5:00 p.m. Local EMT Crew reported to the airport to pick up the flight crew, transport to the PC Hospital and back to the airport with their patient.
6:01 p.m. Male reported a missing dog.
7:40 p.m. Deputy performed a building and residential security check in the Dodson and Hwy 2 west areas.
7:54 p.m. Female reported a vehicle dragging a chain on Hwy 2,
westbound from the Hinsdale area; Deputy responded to the call; female later reported the guy stopped and fixed his chains before Deputy located him.
November 14, 2024
7:34 a.m. Ft Belknap LE reported a vehicle/deer accident on Route 66, in Phillips Co, and their Officer would handle it.
7:53 a.m. Female reported their dog, previously reported as missing, had returned home.
8:57 a.m. Male reported two individuals yelling for the past days, night and day; Deputy responded to the call; no one found at the residence and no vehicles in the area.
9:40 a.m. Male reported finding a “busted up” dog on Old Hwy 2, east of Malta; caller advised of the veterinarian clinic nearby and took the dog there.
9:46 a.m. 911 received reporting a semi-truck and trailer tailgating the caller after they passed that vehicle; traveling eastbound on Hwy 2, from the Blaine Co line; Deputy responded to the call; vehicles not located.
10:08 a.m. Havre PD served a local warrant on one adult male, Marlin Lawrence; male later incarcerated in Hill Co Detention Center.
11:34 a.m. Male reported a missing dog.
1:23 p.m. Female requested assistance with a social media problem; Deputy handled the call.
2:21 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Malta area.
2:39 p.m. Male reported a lost suppressor while hunting; Deputy handled the call.
5:07 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with an Instagram scam; Deputy handled the call.
Parents, please be aware people on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and other social media, may try to entice or lure your child into giving them, sending them photos, or personal information. Discuss sending pictures on any social media platform with your children. Individuals use these pictures to scam by asking for money, gift cards and making threats to post inappropriate pictures of your children on the internet.
Please talk to your children about this so they are aware of the dangers of the internet.
If it seems suspicious it probably is. Talk to your children about talking to you if something like this comes up before they get scammed.
7:46 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Malta area.
8:45 p.m. Female reported hearing an individual was being locked in a bedroom at a local residence; Deputy responded to the location in question, performed a welfare check on all occupants and found the doors were not able to be locked; all individuals were okay.
November 15, 2024
1:00 a.m. Global Medical requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the PC Hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
1:24 a.m. Male reported “lots of screaming” coming from a neighbor’s residence; Deputy responded to the call; no one answered the door and all was quiet in the area.
9:01 a.m. Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult female, Jessica Horn, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on driving while license is suspended, fail to carry proof of insurance, speeding; case file started.
10:25 a.m. Deputy released on adult female inmate, Jessica Horn, after bond being paid.
5:32 p.m. 9-1-1 call requesting an ambulance in Landusky to transport female to hospital in Lewistown.
8:42 p.m. Assistance request received from Fort Belknap Police regarding a stolen vehicle headed to Phillips County. Info passed on to deputies. Vehicle later located on Fort Belknap Reservation.
9:05 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman area.
November 16, 2024
6:11 a.m. Onstar call regarding one of their members hitting a cow in US 191 South of Malta. Local rancher notified and cows removed from roadway. Vehicle towed due to damages.
9:241 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman area.
12:15 p.m. Male reports problems with neighbor dogs harassing his pets. Advised no county dog ordinance so would have to be handled in civil court.
12:40 p.m. Local ambulance reported to football field for game.
2:01 p.m. 9-1-1 requesting ambulance in Saco to transport male to Glasgow.
2:32 p.m. 9-1-1 requesting ambulance at local convenience store to transport male with possible heart attack.
5:47 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.
7:26 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Saco areas.
10:19 p.m. Male reported reckless driving incident near local park. Info passed on to deputies.
11:08 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.
November 17, 2024
2:01 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Whitewater area.
12:13 p.m. Ambulance requested at Malta apartment complex for male having a seizure.
12:53 p.m. Ambulance enroute to airport to pick up flight crew.
1:39 p.m. Ambulance transported patient and flight crew to airport and will be waiting for second air ambulance flight crew.
2:00 p.m. Male left set of keys in civil issue. Sheriff handled the situation.
3:36 p.m. Male reported break-in in Dodson. Sheriff responded to the call. Case file started.
4:54 p.m. Male reporting the theft of a bicycle in Dodson. Deputy responded and bicycle located. Case file started.
4:55 p.m. Female reporting a hit-and-run traffic crash in parking lot of local store. Deputy responded and case file started.
6:45 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in Dodson area.
9:32 p.m. Male reporting receiving verbal threats yelled from vehicle in local campground. Deputy responded. Suspect vehicle not located.
9:34 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.
10:40 p.m. Truck driver reported hitting a dear near Dairy Queen. Deputy responded and removed debris from roadway.
November 18, 2024
2:31 a.m. Deputy reported cows out on the roadway east of Malta. Owner contacted.
5:09 a.m. Sheriff performed security checks in the Loring and Port of Morgan areas.
1:41 p.m. Sheriff contacted by mentally ill citizen requesting assistance with transportation to state mental hospital. Advised would need referral from local hospital. Citizen transported to hospital by personal vehicle and later left AMA. Citizen later located and requested to be taken home by friend.
6:01 p.m. Male reporting traffic complaint. Information passed on to Deputy.
9:38 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Zortman area.
10:55 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Landusky area.
November 19, 2024
8:12 a.m. Hospital request ambulance for flight crew pickup.
9:15 a.m. Male asking if any cows on the highway had been reported west of Dodson. He is missing some cows. Advised no report of cows on highway in that location.
10:18 a.m. Local fire truck heading to Little Learners pre-school for presentation.
5:55 p.m. Male reporting traffic complaint about traffic coming from high school parking lot. Information passed on to deputies.
6:57 p.m. Female requesting a welfare check on individual that is possibly suicidal. Deputy made contact with individual and was assured individual is not suicidal.
9:06 p.m. Deputy conducted traffic stop which led to arrest of Nickolas Wadford on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Wadford bonded out of jail.
November 20, 2024
7:58 a.m. Male reporting train crossing blocked by train in Dodson for extended period of time. Phone number for BNSF given to caller.
9:55 a.m. 9-1-1 call received but no one on the line. Dispatch called number back and was advised accidental call and everything ok.
11:57 a.m. Deputy and DCI agent performed numerous SVOR compliance checks around Phillips County.
5:29 p.m. Ministerial assistance given to male for a motel room for the night.
6:07 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.
November 21, 2024
1:54 a.m. Male traveling through calling from Saco requesting help with fuel as they are out of fuel and only have cash. Deputy responded and assisted with obtain fuel.
7:34 a.m. Female calling to report horses on the highway west of Saco. Owner notified and will take care of situation.
12:21 p.m. Female in Saco reporting traffic complaint. Information passed on to Deputy.
12:47 p.m. 9-1-1 call from male on Fort Belknap Reservation. Caller given phone number to Fort Belknap Police department.
12:56 p.m. Hospital requesting an ambulance for a flight crew pickup.
3:41 p.m. Hill Co SO incarcerated one adult male, Emil Martin Lundstrom, into their facility on Revocation of Suspended Sentence charges out of the 17TH Judicial District Court, Phillips County.
4:11 p.m. Male reported rolling his semi-truck and load of hay on Lovejoy Road; Deputy responded and case file started.
November 22, 2024
8:45 a.m. Male requested law enforcement for another male trying to take his vehicle; Deputy responded, male advised the situation was civil.
5:48 p.m. Male reported an erratic vehicle, eastbound, on Hwy 2; information passed onto Valley Co SO.
6:08 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Malta area.
6:17 p.m. Female reported a possibly neglected dog at a neighbor’s residence; caller later reported the owners had returned.
6:28 p.m. Female reported a semi stuck in the Underpass; Deputy responded and the truck got unstuck without further incident.
10:06 p.m. 911 received reporting a fire near Whitewater; Whitewater Fire Chief responded and found it to be the WW dump.
November 23, 2024
7:58 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle rollover with no injuries on Hwy 191 south, near Zortman; local MHP Trooper handled the call.
2:32 p.m. Sheriff performed security checks in the Loring, Port of Morgan and Hwy 191 north areas.
12:31 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the football field for the State Championship game vs. Manhattan.
2:32 p.m. Deputy performed business security checks in the downtown Malta area.
2:51 p.m. Blaine Co SO requested assistance with stranded hunters near Power Plant Road; CMR Officer and local Fish & Game Warden handled the call.
3:50 p.m. Male reported a scam.
8:12 p.m. Male reported “kids ripping” up the park north of the cemetery; Deputies responded and located the vehicle; drivers advised.
11:49 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on an individual; male found to be okay.

10:17 a.m. Valley Co Detention requested PCSO to hold an inmate for Blaine Co SO to pick up.
4:26 p.m. Local Fish & Game Warden reported a game check station at Swede’s Square.

5:57 p.m. Male reported a vehicle slide off on Frontage Road and vehicle would be removed the following day.
6:06 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with neighbors smoking marijuana; Sheriff handled the call.
6:49 p.m. Off-duty Deputy received a report of a juvenile who ran away; mother later reported; Deputy responded, juvenile located and returned to their residence.
November 26, 2024
12:10 a.m. Male reported a neighbor “circling” the caller’s residence and making threats; Deputies responded; no one located in the area.
1:07 p.m. Male reported a trespasser to his property in Zortman; Sheriff responded; case file started.
1:36 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a cat; Deputy handled the call.
2:27 p.m. Sheriff transported one adult male, Christopher Stefaniak, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Trespassing charges.
2:43 p.m. Anonymous requested a welfare check on a family member and their children; Deputy responded; all found to be okay, just a flu bug going through.
5:46 p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Emmitt Boschee, into PCSO Jail to serve time on District Court sentencing.
11:45 p.m. Deputy performed building and residential security checks in the Saco and Hwy 2 east areas.

6:04 a.m. Male reported a burglary to his business; Deputy and Sheriff responded; case file started.
11:45 a.m. Sheriff transported one adult male, Emil Martin Lundstrom, from Hill Co Detention Center to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.
