Ho Ho Ho! sets the scene for the Phillips County Historical Society's Christmas Festival which began Tuesday, November 12, 2024. .
Phillips County businesses, communities, organizations and individuals will be competing in the "Christmas Festival" event. The Festival - a competitive Christmas decorating contest includes Christmas trees, wreaths, quilted and wooden creations, swags, centerpieces, and table runners. It will culminate with the Social/Open House on Thursday evening, December 5, 2024 - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The Festival contest is a fundraiser for the Phillips County Historical Society. During the interim from November 12 to the evening of December 5, visitors are encouraged to view and vote (with purchased tokens) on their favorite live auction item. In addition, they may bid on their favorite Christmas silent auction item and enter the bucket raffle.
All balloting, bidding, and "bucketing" will conclude on the evening of Thursday, December 5, during the Festival Social/Open House. In addition to the balloting and bidding, the evening will be enhanced by a live auction. The live auction entry receiving the most ballots will be awarded a $50.00 gift certificate from the PCM Gift Shop. Guests will be treated to musical entertainment throughout the evening while partaking of delectable hors d'oeuvres, sweets, special hot drinks and punch. Admission is free.
