M-ettes Host 2B Tourney This Week

The Malta M-ettes volleyball team is set to host the 2B District Volleyball Tournament this week. The team will have to bounce back after losses to Havre and Fairview last week.

Four 2B teams will qualify for the Northern B which is set to start in Shelby on Thursday, November 7, and conclude on November 9.

The M-ettes, who took third place in the conference, will face the Harlem Ladycats in the opening round of the 2B District Tournament on Thursday, October 31, at 7:30 p.m.

"From the very beginning, we have emphasized that the postseason is our time to shine," Malta Head Coach Tasha Hines said. "I can confidently say that we are ready to peak at just the right moment. The potential that lies ahead of us is unmatched, and now is the time for us to take action, one match at a time.

"We are particularly excited to have the opportunity to compete in our district tournament right here in Malta," Coach Hines continued. "Having the home court advantage is something special, and I know the girls are looking forward to the support from our hometown fans."
