PCSO Release on Single-Vehicle Crash Near Saco

On Friday, October 25, 2024, at 10:49 PM, the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received an automated emergency response indicating the owner of the cell phone had been involved in a crash and was not responding to the phone call.

The GPS location indicated approximately mile marker 20 on Highway 243 North of Saco, MT.

Emergency personnel were dispatched to that location, and a single-vehicle crash was discovered. The driver and only occupant, Alysa Jensen, was pronounced deceased at the scene due to blunt-force trauma to the head.

The Montana Highway Patrol investigated the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. We wish to express our condolences to the Jensen family in this time of tragedy.
