Dodson XC Sending Seven to State, Posey Sixth At Harlem Meet

The Dodson Coyotes Cross Country Team is sending seven athletes to the State Cross Country Meet in Missoula this Saturday.

Representing the Dodson Men’s team will be Junior Stiffarm, Donovan Posey, Lance KillEagle, Brayden Jones, Jaxon Jones, and Tygh Healy. Precious Stiffarm will be the lone Lady Coyote at the state meet.

“The boys have been putting in extra hard work together as a team even after practice and it appears to be paying off,” Dodson Head Coach Tianna Bloomer said. “Precious has also been putting in extra work after practice. I am very proud of all of them for trying so hard this season. It will be fun to see what happens at state! You just never know!”

The team competed at the Harlem Invitational on October 18.

Posey took sixth with a time of 17:43.93. KillEagle was 34th with a time of 19:47.13. B. Jones was 37th with a time of 20:02.80, J. Stiffarm was 40th with a time of 20:12.24, J. Jones was 60th with a time of 23:08.14, and Healy was 64th with a time of 24:13.36.
