One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, October 23, 2024

Sympathy to the victims of the recent hurricanes down south. I now have a hurricane named after me “Helene” from good ole Whitewater, Montana.

The fall days are beautiful, sunny, and warm, and no wind.

The ranchers are preparing for winter. There is plenty of hay for feed.

The high school is in full session with the kids going four days a week. When I grew up, we had school five days a week.

Saturday, Sommer Green and I went to the Big Flat Electric annual meeting. It covered a lot. “Hope they keep the lights on for us”. I won a set of tools, thanks to them. It was strange that the cattlemen and women won the beef bundles.

Then we went to the salad and soup luncheon at the Senior Center.

Back to Whitewater, we returned to the Oly Olsen Dart Tourney, auction and dinner. Auctions are fun. A busy day for us.

Sunday, October 13, while in Malta, Unity Lutheran Church had a full house with both congregations. It was followed by a joint council meeting and dinner.
