School Board Meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the MHS Boardroom. Times and dates are subject to change. (Oct. 9)

City Council Meetings

City Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at City Hall at 5 p.m. (Oct. 11-note date change)

Knitting & Crochet Club

The Knitting & Crochet Club will meet at Gone to Pieces Quilt Shop at 11 a.m. every Thursday.

Lunch at River’s Bend

10-03-24 The Malta American Legion Auxiliary meeting is scheduled for Oct. 3, 2024 at 5:30pm at the VFW Club. Please note time change.

P. C. Historical Board Mtg.

10-07-24 The Phillips County Historical Board meeting has been changed to Monday, Oct. 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum. The meeting is scheduled one week earlier due to a federal holiday conflict. The P. C. Museum Board will also meet on Oct 7th at 5:30 at the museum, Every one is welcome to attend.

Public Square Rosary Crusade Rally

10-12-24 Please join us in praying for our nation on October 12, at 12 Noon. The local Public Square Rosary Rally will take place at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Malta. Contact Tom Golik for more information at 406/654-2670.

Soup for the Soul

10-12-24 The Malta Senior Center will host its final fundraiser for 2024 with a soup luncheon on Saturday, October 12. Enjoy classics along with soups of celebrities. Stay tuned for more interesting tidbits.

Hearing Screenings

8-19 to 10-31-24 Hearing Screenings will take place in Bear Paw Cooperative member schools from August 19 through October 31, 2024. Children enrolled in kindergarten and first grade, and ninth or tenth grade will be screened. No other children will be screened without parental permission. Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns, or the Bear Paw Cooperative at 406-357-2269. This service is sponsored by the Bear Paw Cooperative.
