M-ettes Defeat Lady Wolves

The Malta M-ette volleyball team traveled to Wolf Point and picked up a 3-0 win over the Lady Wolves on Saturday, September 21.

“We came ready to play,” Malta Head Coach Tasha Hines told the PCN. “We relaxed a little too much in the third set but pulled it together.”

The M-ettes were scheduled to host the Poplar Lady Indians on Tuesday, September 24. They are scheduled to play the Shelby Lady Coyotes in Shelby on Friday, September 27, and will compete in the Choteau Mid-Season Invitational on Saturday, September 28.

In Malta’s win over Wolf Point, the scores were 25-13, 25-8, and 25-20.

Malta was led by Ava Hanson who had nine of Malta’s 32 kills. Neva Jacobson had 20 of Malta’s 30 assists, five of the team’s 14 aces, and seven of 35 digs.
