My Voice in America's Democracy

Grades 6-8 can work on this title, maybe make a class lesson and receive a grade! This is the Patriots Pen essay contest with 73,000 students entering in 2023 in hopes of receiving the $5,000 grand prize.

Students are encouraged to use the web to clarify the topic and become thoroughly acquainted with the subject.

All work must be of the student preparing the essay and keep in mind the essays must be between 300-400 words.

Knowledge is 30 points; theme development-35 points and clarity of topic is 35 points.

The time to start is now as the deadline is Oct. 31, 2024.
