Hey Ya'll, It's Taco Time at the Center!

The Senior Center is cooking up a great Taco meal for one and all. Carrie Perry, with her able assistant Darlene Perry, will be making fry bread ‘on the spot’ on September 14, 2024, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Nothing gets much better than that!

Ken and Bonnie Wiederrick are providing the delicious meat sauce filling accompanied by garden tomatoes, onions and lettuce. Of course, cheddar cheese and sour cream add to the topping.

Desserts will top off the terrific homemade meal: Jell-o cake, fudge, chewy brownies, blonde brownies, just to mention a few.

The guys at the center have been doing their own style of “cooking” up a remodel project to enlarge the serving and eating area of the center. Since there are no load-bearing walls to deal with, it will make the project go smoother. They are anxious to visit with anyone who will pause to listen.

This will be a free-will offering meal to help fund the remodel project. Come renew acquaintances, make new ones and linger over coffee and maybe a second piece of dessert! Yum.
