One Nation, Under God

Loring/Affinity News for Wednesday, September 4, 2024

It has been a busy week! Harvesting is just finishing up and the bales are waiting to be stacked. The bulls have been brought in, I suppose! And fall sports are in full swing!

Loring community has been spiffed up again this fall getting ready for the snow to fly even tho it’s close to one hundred degrees today!

I went over to watch my grandson make German noodles on Sunday! He is such a good cook for still being in high school!

Zoey spent the afternoon with me on Friday. She and I watered my farm and gathered about a quart of cherry tomatoes! She painted a mountain picture and when her mom got off work we had supper.

Here at Affinity we’ve had special music three times this week! It’s nice and gives us a time for visiting and entertainment without having to drive.

A few of us went down to Craft Local to hear one of our residents play Celtic music in a band. It was really fun and I’m sure we’ll go again! They have Celtic music every Tuesday at

5:30.

I did not see them, but I heard the northern lights were dancing one day this week. They have been so active this year it’s enlightening!

Be safe and see you next week!
