PCMS Holds Make-Up and July Races

Phillips County Motorsports held three racing events from Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14, at the Hi-Line Dragstrip in Malta.

On July 12, racers were able to complete a race that they started on Saturday, June 15, but could not complete due to weather. This time around, the weather was a different extreme.

“It was very hot but it went well,” PCMS President Dan Stout told the PCN. “It was the Montana Drag Race Association race. We had about 70 cars of which about 11 were junior dragsters. I think the heat kept a few cars home but we had a good race. We kept our crew hydrated to make it through the hot weekend. Our next race is our three day race on Labor Day weekend.”

The next races at the Hi-Line Dragstrip are scheduled to be held from Monday, September 2 to Wednesday, September 4.
