Machine Operator/Ditch Rider
The Malta Irrigation District is seeking to fill one (1) Machine Operator and/or Ditch Rider position. This position is permanent and full-time with health care benefits, including a pension. Applicants must have the desire and ability to perform a wide variety of skilled duties associated with the operation and maintenance of the Malta Irrigation District’s water distribution system. Must be able to work overtime and some weekends and be on call for emergencies. Must also have or be able to obtain a Class A driver’s license within the first year of employment. Malta Public Schools is seeking applicants for School Route Bus Drivers, including substitute bus drivers. Successful applicants will be hired upon approval of a satisfactory background check and a clean pre-employment drug test. Random drug testing is required after hire.
Bus Driver Requirements:
Montana Driver’s License in good standing for E-Class buses (Ford Expedition)
CDL in good standing with school bus and passenger bus endorsements for regular school buses
15 hours annual bus driver training
CPR/First Aid certification
