One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, June 19, 2024

Again, sympathy to the Pat Dunbar/Allery family on the passing of Barb Allery Dunbar. She will be missed. Her funeral was on Saturday and the church was packed full. Sommer Green sang a beautiful song with her beautiful voice. There was a BBQ at Dunbar’s cabin after the funeral.

The lake was peaceful, and the grass and trees were all green. Lunch was served to a large crowd. Connie (Barb’s sister) came from Billings. I was glad to see her.

Others I saw were the Hills and Sue Haag, and a lot of Whitewater friends.

Rest in peace Barb.

Happy Birthday to Janet Brown (my sis), and also to her sons Gene and Glen Brown. All former Whitewater residents. We went to Billings to celebrate Janet’s birthday. We had a wonderful party with cake and ice cream and all four of her children were there. It was good to see Julie Austin and her husband Marvin and their two twin granddaughters.

I spent a lot of time with Janet and visiting, it was nice.

A group from the Milk River Gospel Jamboree will be here on June 30 at the Whitewater Lutheran Church. All are welcome.

It’s a beautiful day in Whitewater, enjoy your day.

Helen A.
