Phillips County Motorsports To Hold Second Weekend, Drag and Drive

The regular season for Phillips County Motorsports kicked off on Saturday, June 1, at the Hi-Line Dragstip for a test and tune, the weekend continued with the track’s first Point’s Race of the season.

The PCMS group will have their next races this weekend, with a points race on Saturday, June 15, and another points race on Sunday, June 16. There will also be a Drag and Drive event on Tuesday, June 18, which will feature a good variety of street legal vehicles from across the state.

The following is the result of the final race from each class at the June 2 event.

Box Super Pro: Jesse Dobson of Scobey was the winner of the Box Super Pro Class. Dobson had a dial in time of 5.31 seconds, reaction time of 0.0507, elapsed time of 5.3142, and top speed of 121.95 MPH.

Neil Stahl of Glasgow was the runner-up in the Box Super Pro Class. He had a dial in time of 5.32, reaction time of 0.0787, elapsed time of 5.2428, and top speed of 128.76 MPH.

No Box Pro: Mike Acker of Swift Current was the winner of the No Box Pro Class. Acker had a dial in time of 6.51, reaction time of -0.0061, elapsed time of 6.5027, and a top speed of 102.18 MPH.

Nathan Seibel of Swift Current was runner up in the No Box Pro Class. Seibel had a dial in time of 7.53, reaction time of -.0111. Elapsed time of 7.5413, and a top speed of 91.99 MPH.

Junior: Luke Neset of Tioga, N.D. was the winner of the Junior Class with a dial in time of 9.50, reaction time of 0.0816, elapsed time of 10.1704, and a top speed of 49.53 MPH.

Cason Neset of Tioga, N.D. was runner up in the Junior Class with a dial in time of 11.48, reaction time of -0.0411, elapsed time of 11.6555, and top speed of 51.59 MPH.

Sportsman: Craig Shaw of Havre was the winner of the Sportsman Class with a dial in time of 7.80, reaction time of 0.0739, elapsed time of 7.8638, and top speed of 88.64 MPH.

Stacey Klungland of Havre was the runner up of the Sportsman Class with a dial in time of 7.79, reaction time of 0.0968, elapsed time of 7.7695, and top speed of 86.09.
