Machine Operator
The Malta Irrigation District is seeking to fill one (1) Machine Operator position. This position is permanent full-time with health care benefits, including pension. Applicants must have the desire and ability to perform a wide variety of skilled duties associated with the operation and maintenance of the Malta Irrigation District’s water distribution system.
Applicants must have the following skills – Operate and maintain machinery, including but not limited to loaders, trucks, backhoes, excavators, etc. Must be willing to perform work in the operation and use of construction equipment in support of activities related to construction, maintenance, and repair of the District’s water systems. Must be able to work some overtime and weekends, and be on call for emergencies. Must also have a Class A drivers’ license.
Applicant will also be required to pass a drug screening.

Malta Public Schools is seeking applicants for School Route Bus Drivers, including substitute bus drivers. Successful applicants will be hired upon approval of a satisfactory background check and a clean pre-employment drug test. Random drug testing is required after hire.
Bus Driver Requirements:
Montana Driver’s License in good standing for E-Class buses (Ford Expedition)
CDL in good standing with school bus and passenger bus endorsements for regular school buses
15 hours annual bus driver training
CPR/First Aid certification
Medical Examiners Certificate
Clean driving record
Clean background check
Random drug testing
