Malta Senior Center

BINGO is every Friday at 1:00 at the Malta Senior Center.

Malta School Board Mtg

School Board Meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the MHS Boardroom. Times and dates are subject to change. (June 5)

City Council Meetings

City Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at City Hall at 5 p.m.

Knitting and Crochet Club

The Knitting & Crochet Club will meet at Gone to Pieces Quilt Shop at 11 a.m. every Thursday.

Lunch at River’s Bend

Mon. and Wed. River’s Bend Assisted Living has soup and salad available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Call 406-654-2106 for more information.

ALA Girls State Applications Available

The American Legion Auxiliary Girls State applications are available to be picked up from a member or go on-line to http://www.legion-aux.org/ALA-Girls-State/. Dates of attendance are June 14-22, 2024, at Fort Harrison, Helena. It is open to all girls attending their junior year in high school and the deadline is June 1, 2024. The local ALA unit will pay the admission fee.

PARADE PARADE PARADE

Get your float or entry ready for Monday’s Memorial Day Parade. Line up at Veteran’s Park at 12:30, parade at 1 p.m., followed by Military Remembrance Ceremony. BBQ at VFW afterwards. There are a few “HOMETOWN HERO” banner spots left on the order about to be placed. Call Delsi Witmer to reserve one asap at 406-344-2794.

ALA Poppies

The Malta American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 57, will be distributing Poppies in the Malta area through the month of May. Please donate and proudly wear your Poppy.

Malta Seed & Plant Share

5-25-24 The Malta Gardeners Group will host a Seed & Plant Share on Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Farmer's Market in Veteran's Park. There will be a Seed Share, light lunch with speakers at the GN, a Plant Share, and Prize Give-aways! For Vendor Spots contact Mary Shores at 406-654-7266.

Class of ‘94 Reunion

5-31-24 to 6-1-24 The Malta Class of 1994 will hold their 30-year Reunion May 31 - June 1, 2024, and would like to invite all friends, family, and teachers to come say hi, reminisce, and socialize with them on Saturday, June 1, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the gazebo in Veterans Park during the car show! If any parents, family members, or friends of 1994 alumni can let them know of reunion, it would be greatly appreciated.
