The Malta Golf Teams participated in their last regular season meet of the year, the Poplar Invitational last Thursday, May 2.
The Malta Golf teams competed at the Divisional Meet in Glasgow on Monday, May 6. The results will be available in the May 15 PCN.
The Mustangs finished tied with Glasgow for second in team scoring with a total of 367 strokes. Scobey won the event with 357 strokes.
Malta's Kruise Stiles, an eighth grader, tied for third place with 87 points. Scobey's Cooper Axtman won the individual meet with 85 strokes, twelve over par. Glasgow's Eli Feezell was second with a score of 86.
Malta senior Hunter Stolem was sixth with 88 strokes, one stroke outside of tying for third.
Eighth-grader Regan Stuart was eleventh with a total of 93 strokes.
Junior Kellen Murray had 99 strokes and finished 21st.
Eighth-grader Thatcher Marquis had 97 strokes, eighth-grader Michael Love had 99 strokes, eighth-grader Trevor Knowles had 108 strokes, junior Jonah Bucks had 117 strokes, and junior Braydon Rhoads had 121 strokes.
Sophomore Kylie Bishop led the M-ettes with a fifth-place finish and 105 strokes.
Junior Britney Sorlie was sixth with 106 strokes. Freshman Amelia Johanessen was twelfth with 136 strokes.
