One Nation, Under God
Happy Earth Day! I was in college when the first Earth Day was celebrated. I remember some students rode horses to school instead of driving their cars. I mostly picked trash!
Congratulations to the musicians from Whitewater School who earned one’s at the District Music Festival! They have earned a trip to the State competition in Billings! I might get to see some of them when they come down.
If you are outside in the night, you might have seen a few meteorites from the Leonids showers. It's always exciting to see!
The calves are so cute running and playing. Debbie and I saw a few groups of babies who were being babysat by one cow while the other adult mommas ranged out to graze.
I have a piece of garden here at Affinity. It’s about a 3’x 3’ raised garden. I’m planting radishes to start. The garden next to mine has iris, tulips, and daffodils. It sure makes me feel good when I see the colorful blooms! I’m also hoping to plant a chocolate cherry tomato. Isn’t that the best name?
When I was at Loring last week, I saw the flycatchers were back! I wonder how many clutches they’ll hatch this year. It might be more hazardous for them this year since Rod has a couple of cats.
Have a great week!
