Souper-er Saturday is April 27!

AH, SOUPER-er Saturday is upon us! All kinds and flavors of soups, even different colors of soups will be set out to tempt you on Saturday, April 27, beginning at 11 a.m. till gone. Of course there will be breads to go with the soups and ever-popular desserts. There is a suggested $5.00 per person free-will donation.

This is the last of our fundraisers till fall when the famous Indian Tacos come to visit the center.

The center is working on raising funds for the LED lights which will be a major improvement in the main room as it cuts down on the glare for card and bingo players.

LED panels will be installed in the ceiling where the former tiles are. The group is also looking at a remodel project of removing walls to enlarge the main room.

The building was once an office set-up and it is chopped up making it unusable for large gatherings. The kitchen would be enlarged, which is badly needed, more counter space and cabinets. The cabinets were secured from a homeowner’s remodel project, thereby, nothing will go to waste. As usual, Ken has drawings to show how it will look, so if you’re interested, ask to see them.

There is also the Legion’s garage sale at the VFW next door so everyone can enjoy both events.
