Sympathy to the family of Steve Schumacher. He was the lay pastor of the Whitewater Lutheran Church. He will be missed.

It is April! Happy Birthday to all celebrating birthdays including Dallas and Jeanie Green, and Me! (Happy Birthday Helen from the staff at the Phillips County News).

Happy Anniversary to those having anniversaries this month.

Jeanie Green went to Marrisa’s (her daughter), to visit for Easter.

Whitewater Lutheran Church was packed for Easter Service. Many families of the Simonson, Hammond and LaBries were there.

A brunch of coffee and rolls preceded church.

Many from Patty Young’s family were in church also.

In the Whitewater area, many ranchers are calving, as well as the rest of Phillips County. The weather is good for baby calves. Snow is gone and it is sunny. The calves are so cute running around.

There are only a few sheep and lambs here.

I hear the geese and ducks on Whitewater Creek.
