April 3: Sympathy to the victims of the bridge accident in Baltimore. It was just terrible.
It reminds me of our little Whitewater Creek Bridge when it collapsed. It simply broke in the middle. That was in 1950 or 1952. We had a lot of snow that year. It was before the dam was built. Does anyone remember that year?
We used to skate on the ice. Now there’s not enough water for ice.
Most ranchers are calving. It is snowy and cold which is hard for newborn calves.
But it is not as cold as last year.
Congratulations to the Hinsdale Ambulance on their recent award for excellent service.
Our Whitewater area is in need of an ambulance. (We have an ambulance vehicle but no drivers). It takes some time and money to be a qualified driver. It is a real need in our rural area.
Glad you are feeling better to Paul Siewing.
Several went to Ag-Day in Malta. Debbie Anderson of Whitewater won a prize.
Whitewater School began track practice, but snow and ice covered their track. They will probably practice indoors.
Hope you all had a nice Easter!
Now think SPRING!
