Happy Valentines Day! Have you gotten over the total excitement of the Super Bowl? We even had a tail gate party here at Affinity! The football game was playing at the theater, so it was on a big screen!

One of the refineries had a fire which really put a huge amount of smoke into the air. Since David, my son, works at a refinery I was worried. But he works at Exxon and the fire was at Phillips 66, I heard that everyone was ok over there too!

Good luck to the North Country Mavericks, both girls and boys teams, as the post season starts. Also, good luck to the M-ettes and Mustangs from Malta!

This past week was Spirit week here at Affinity. Crazy hair day, pajama day, etc. The pep rally was on Thursday at the Dilly Dally Pub. We were playing games, had a snack or two and I just thought, “We need a cheer and I know one?” So, I volunteered to give a cheer! I did not need to explain anything to these fine people! “Step on the starter?!! Shove it in low! Come on team, let’s go!” Yup that’s the cheer!

I’ve learned a ton about people here!

I haven’t heard from the people in Loring but I’m forever in their indebtedness! I’m proud of the wrestlers who went to state.
