Phillips County Prevention News: Stack to Talk Dangers of Today's Marijuana

Gina Lamb, PS for Phillips County has been collaborating with Malta High School, Phillips County Suicide Prevention, and the Phillips County Local Advisory Council on Behavioral Health to bring Laura Stack, Founder & CEO of Johnny's Ambassadors to speak in Malta this coming March.

Gina recently presented to the Malta School Board, personally inviting them to the upcoming parent and community night which will be held after separate presentations to middle school and high school students during the school day.

Laura Stack will present "The Dangerous Truth About Today's Marijuana: Johnny Stack's Life & Death Story". Laura's 19 year old son died by suicide after becoming psychotic from dabbing high-THC marijuana concentrates. She formed the nonprofit Johnny's Ambassadors, to educate parents and teens about the dangers of today's high-THC marijuana on adolescent brain development, mental illness and suicide.

All Phillips County schools and communities have been invited to attend these presentations to be held at Malta High School on Monday, March 18th at 6 p.m.
