One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, January 24, 2024

The weather changed and it is warmer which makes most of us happier! The chores are easier and the equipment starts better! But we also know that this won’t last too long!

The pool here at Affinity had a broken pipe which in turn broke a piece on the furnace. It was only down for a week so I think the repair people really got to work!

I took Zoey, my granddaughter, over for a swim on Saturday.

Rita Frasure and I went to the symphony dress rehearsal on Friday. It was a wonderful treat!

The Ahn Trio were featured and the music was intense! Some friends of Rita’s sat with us and we visited during the intermission. Gary collects postmarks from post offices that are no longer in business. He knew many tiny places in Montana!

Cindy Clark went to the ball games in Whitewater to hear the pep band! It is always fun to hear the band play at the games! I feel that the musicians appreciate people clapping for their efforts too!

There was a half moon last night so a full moon will light the skies in one week, I think. In trivia one of the questions was what is a blue moon? I’m the only one who knew! A second full moon in one month is a blue moon. I think that might happen three months during a year.

Ashlynn Morser came over to visit me on Sunday! What a nice visit we had over coffee! We’ll try to get together more often.

See you next week.
