Wanda Sue Reynolds, 86, of Malta, Mont., passed away Monday, December 25th at Sweet Home in Chinook, Mont.
Wanda was born December 29, 1936, in Lewistown, Mont., to William Fraser and Elsie Fulton at St. Joseph's Hospital. Wanda met Joseph Reynolds on a blind date; they were married in June 1958. They had two sons in Great Falls and moved to Malta in 1961. They built Joe's In and Out in 1962 and continued growing their family with another son and a daughter. In 1998 they retired to Las Vegas, Nev., to be closer to their children. Wanda moved back to Malta in 2021 to reconnect with the community and her lifetime family friend, Marla Sisco.
Wanda is survived by two children, Alan Reynolds and Heidi (Bill) Holley, five grandchildren, McKenzie (Tommy) Krause, Spencer Mykayla) Holley, Andrew (Heather) Reynolds, Faye Reynolds, and Sierra Lyytinen, and six great-grandchildren, Brighton, Maverick, Peyton, Abram, Autumn, and Zoey.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Reynolds, sons Scott and Steve Reynolds, daughter-in-law Phyllis Reynolds, four sisters Willa Parks, Betty Munson, Helen Clark, Alice Freeman, and one brother Everett Fraser.
Wanda was involved in many community organizations including Girl Scouts, the Malta School Board, Malta Ambulance Service, and the Las Vegas School District. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Malta, Mont., on Saturday, July 6, 2024.
