One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, November 29, 2023

Happy advent! I don’t know if that’s the correct greeting but I hope everyone has an uneventful four weeks until Christmas!

I was a lunch guest of Cindy Clark on Monday before Rod and I made the trip back to Billings on Tuesday.

Becca and Robert Engum of Great Falls, Bud Erfle, Kenny and Brenda Clark, and children were Thanksgiving guests of Cindy Clark. After dinner, everyone tried their hands at decorating a Gingerbread house! By the pictures, there are some talented decorators in the group!

I was treated to two Thanksgiving meals, one at Jeanie Schroeder’s with Zoey and Rod, Brentton, Abby, and the boys. Then on Saturday, I was invited to Dave and Brandie’s with Rocco, Jake, and Cali. All was delicious!

Pete and Carol Lumsden hosted Thanksgiving dinner for Carmen Norville and the girls. Blunts stayed home since one of their children got sick. Everyone could make it to the farm on Friday including Jonnae and Jim! Pete hooked up the team and pulled the wagon around. The wind was not kind! But everyone had a great time!

The moon is full and so beautiful! Also, down here in Billings, I see geese every day. They fly over both mornings and evenings! Honking all the way! Even though they are Canadian geese but called local since they stick around all winter.

Until next time, watch for wildlife!
