One Nation, Under God
Dear Editor,
I was reading in a recent Montana Senior News issue that veterans can go to the Double-H Ranch in Bozeman, Mont., and start getting their lives back on track after leaving the service.
Now young people should take note of this when they are fooling around with their idle time getting into trouble. These veterans have all kinds of problems and want to heal themselves and have something to look forward to.
A lot of you young people are healthy or were healthy, and opportunities are right at your fingertips, while these veterans have sacrificed themselves and cannot do a lot of things they used to, even simple things sometimes. So now they are given their lives back by riding horses, camping, learning new skills, things we just take for granted. Some of you young people need to think about your lives and shape up and do something worthwhile.
Good luck to the young who are doing well. It's a tough time for them and everyone these days.
To all the Veterans- HAPPY VETERANS DAY.
