One Nation, Under God
Our first frost of the fall last week saw a low of 21 degrees on Thursday evening. Several of the days have been quite cool.
Polly Solberg attended some of Malta’s sports activities at the golf course on Saturday and attended church at Elim on Sunday.
She said she noticed the lower temps.
Dora Henry had the company of people looking at her house.
Good to see lots of activity at the school at the end of the week as the kids had a meet. The days have been nice for them anyway.
Glen Dolphay has been busy on some of the streets---filling up some of the potholes etc. Thanks, Glen for doing this, some of them were getting pretty deep.
Congratulations are sent to Mark and Serese Pankratz and to Jim and Dee Shettel on their anniversaries. Birthday greetings are sent to all having a birthday this week. Get well wishes are sent again to Serese, hoping she continues to get well.
How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong----because someday in life you will be all of these.
Have a good week and enjoy the good weather as it lasts.
