One Nation, Under God
The days are very noticeably shorter now and the trees are getting yellow leaves in places, so it is reminding us that fall is coming.
Also, our nights are very cool. It all seemed to happen so quickly that we can hardly keep up.
The Kirkaldie brothers pulled up with their racehorses just as we were leaving after lunch the other day, so we were able to see some nice-looking horses. Winner’s even.
The kids have been out on the course really working on track. Good luck for a good year.
Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Havre for doctor’s appointments and business on Thursday. We stopped in to visit at Bill Henry’s and were lucky enough to catch Bill home so were able to visit with him also.
Jan Edmister called one day last week and said Hi! to everyone. Good to hear her voice again.
Get well wishes are sent to Serese Pankratz and wishes for a speedy recovery.
Everywhere you look there are bales of hay. It is good to see it’s been such a good year for once. Just so it isn’t a sign of a long and snow-covered hard winter, and it all needs to be fed.
Best wishes and congratulations to all celebrating birthdays and anniversaries this week. May you have many more.
A young boy, some six years old, was studying his grandmother. Soon he asked, “Grandma, are you a lot older than my mom?” “I sure am honey, lots older,” she replied. The boy nodded. “I figured that,” he said, “but I got to tell you that her skin fits a whole lot better than yours”.
Have a good week and enjoy the nice weather while we can.
