One Nation, Under God
It seems everyone is having Tacos, however, the Senior Center began its dinners in 2017, six years ago. With the exception of one year, the members have been serving the delicious Indian Tacos to the public.
Indian Tacos will be served from 11:30 to 1:00 on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Senior Center. Take-outs are available.
The bread is prepared on the spot by Carrie Perry, fried up, and ready to devour.
Ken and Bonnie Wiederrick cook up the burger, seasoned just right, waiting for you to choose the toppings you desire.
Desserts by Sharon Miller fill out the menu and promise to be scrumptious.
As usual, free-will offerings are accepted and expected!
The members invite you to view the newly constructed awning, designed by Ken Ruzicka. Board members Ken Blunt and Clair Waters and member Ken Wiederrick assisted in the construction. A grant has been applied for through PhillCo to help with costs.
The next project on the Center’s agenda is LED light panels for the main room in the center. A grant has been applied for through the Council of Ageing for this $5000+ project.
As always, The Hearing Institute, whist, pinochle, bridge, and bingo keep the center busy during the week. Weekends are open for rental at $35 a day and include the use of the kitchen.
Come visit as the group is always up to something.
