School Board Meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the MHS Boardroom. Times and dates are subject to change.

City Council Meetings

City Council Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at City Hall at 5 p.m.

PC Library Knitting and Crochet Club

The Phillips County Library hosts a knitting and crochet group from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday.

Blood Drive

9-7-23 The Red Cross will have their Blood Drive in Malta on Thursday, September 7 from 11 to 5:15 p.m. at the Malta Event Center (Old Armory). Please call 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: malta to schedule an appointment.

Indian Tacos at the Sr. Center

9-9-23 The Malta Senior Center will be having a Free Will offering Indian Taco lunch on Saturday, September 9 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Center. Take-outs are available!

Irrigation Shut Off Planned

9-10-23 The Malta Irrigation District currently has a September 10 shutoff date for the 2023 irrigation season. Questions, call Russ Brookie, General Manager, at 406-654-7380.

P. C. Historic Walk

9-10-23 The Phillips County Historic Walk will be held on Sunday, Sept 10, 2023, 1:00 – 3:30 pm at the H. G. Robinson House & Gardens. Five historic re-enactors to entertain you. Refreshments & Door Prizes.

Tickets available at the H. G. Robinson House on Sunday. Pre-sale tickets at the P. C. Museum.

9/11 Walk

9-11-23 The 9/11 Walk will start at 6 p.m. from the VFW Club. There will be a short ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park and then back to the VFW Club. Everyone is invited to participate.

P. C. Board Mtgs

9-11-23 The Phillips County Museum will have their Board Meeting on September 11 at 5:30 p.m. and the P.C. Historical Society Board Meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.

Hearing Screenings

8-21 through 10-31-23 Hearing Screenings will take place in Bear Paw Cooperative member schools from August 21 through October 31, 2023. Children enrolled in kindergarten and first grade, and ninth or tenth grade will be screened. No other children will be screened without parental permission. Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns, or the Bear Paw Cooperative at 406-357-2269. This service is sponsored by the Bear Paw Cooperative.

Grandparents Day at Saco Schools

9-21-23 Saco Schools will celebrate Grandparents'/Special Persons' Day with a lunch at the school on September 21. Elementary will dine at 11:25 a.m. and the JH/HS will dine at 12:00 p.m. COME ENJOY THIS SPECIAL DAY WITH US!
