One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, August 23, 2023

Sympathy for the victims of the fires in Hawaii. Beware of all fires.

Kyler Venable and Serena (his mom) were on the TV and radio this morning, thanking people for their generosity and donations given to him. Especially the $15,000 given to him by a basketball group that held a fundraiser.

Kyler was in a terrible accident in which he ended up losing part of his leg. Kyler lives in Miles City. Note: He is Jeannie Green’s grandson. If anyone wants to help, contact Jeannie. We all pray for Kyler’s recovery.

Last Sunday, Sally Austin, Ree Simonson and I went to Fort Peck to the theatre and saw White Christmas. It was wonderful and the music was fantastic. There was a full house in the theatre. We had heard that a girl from Loring was in the play last month. Congratulations to her!

On August 6th, Jeannie Green, and I went to the fair. We met my friend from Chinook, Irene Wendalyn there. We ate at the 4-H stand. Good burgers. We had potato salad and pie.

There were many food trailers from many different places. Again, congratulations to all the winners who had exhibits.

Here in the Whitewater area, farmers and ranchers are preparing for combining. Good Luck to them with their crops.

School has started in Whitewater and so many places in the county. Welcome back to all the teachers and students.

Welcome back to the Wisher family!

Sue Olsen went to visit her mother in Helena. Hello to Clarice Stahl.

The weather here is beautiful, sunny, and no wind.
