One Nation, Under God
Enclosed is a letter from Denmark. These people were visiting their son who lives in Whitewater and his family.
We were all glad to meet and visit with them.
Visitors at Marjorie Olson’s home were her daughter Carolyn, her husband, and three children. Carolyn grew up in Whitewater. They now live in Wyoming.
Congratulations to JoAnna and Jana Wisher (formerly of Whitewater). They both were married. They live in South Carolina. Good luck to Samantha Wisher as she starts a new career in South Carolina.
Adam and Taylor Hellie, and Randy and Dawn Stensvick flew to South Carolina for the weddings. I’m sure both weddings were beautiful. However, maybe they could have used the wedding expense money more wisely. Living expenses are so high in this economy. Good luck to them anyway.
The weather here has been smokey and cool for July. The wind is blowing today, hope it stops. The wind dries the good earth.
I’d better water my plants, flowers, and tomatoes. HA!

A letter from Denmark
Thank you for a great stay in Whitewater.
The little town with people with big hearts and concern for each other and humor.
We loved the senior dinner at North 40. Thank You, Krystina for the very tasty food.
We love Krystina’s food. We come back next Wednesday!
Erling Hindy’s dad was born on a little farm in Denmark. He loves to see and hear about the lives in Whitewater and see the wide-open spaces. He is proud of his son doing so well here.
Erling is an educated blacksmith, had his own trucker firm with four truck drivers.
He drove with feed and building materials. Also worked as a truck mechanic.
I have worked as an office assistant and as domestic helper.
We met with Lindy, Krystina and the kids at Lead SD. Have so much fun to see Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Reptile Park. Saw the beautiful Black Hills on our way to Whitewater.
So happy we can celebrate Lilliana’s birthday on the fourth of July, before we are going home.
-Hanne.
