Both were shot in the head on a Friday.

John Wilkes Booth was born in 1839, and Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939.

They both were shot before their trial.

Abraham Lincoln was elected in 1860, and John F. Kennedy was elected in 1960.

Their successors both were named Johnson and were Democrats in the Senate. Andrew Johnson was born in 1808, and Lyndon Johnson was born in 1908.
