One Nation, Under God
Get well wishes to Courtney Hellie of Whitewater who needs help with medical bills.
Also “Get Well” wishes to Dallas Green who returned home now.
The Murdock Ranch north of Whitewater celebrated its 100th anniversary! They had a big dinner and party at the North 40, it was well attended by family and friends. Congratulations to the Murdock family.
Here in Whitewater, we have had lots of rain, and also some terrific hailstorms. The A hailstorm broke the window in the house next door. It also broke windows in Ashley Greens home.
It was lucky the crops were not up so high yet, so they did not get hailed out that I know about.
Most crops look good out here. Farmers, here’s hoping you all get 40 bushels to the acre!
How are your gardens? My tomatoes in a pail on the patio are doing great. They have little tomatoes already.
Thanks to Steve and Patti Young for the tomato plants and the beautiful flowering plants.
Inside the house, I have an aloe vera plant. If you have a “hurt” somewhere, cut the plant tip-off and rub it on your hurt. It helps. I also had a geranium and a four-leaf clover plant. We had dandelions, they are a pretty yellow until they turn all white. Thanks to my nephew for picking some for me.
This ends my garden lesson!
Wildflowers, roses, crocuses, and mom’s tulips are still my favorite.
Water your flowers.
Helen A.
