One Nation, Under God
No writing made it into the paper last week, so we'll start again. The main item last week was the lady attacked by the Pit Bull. Haven’t heard anything but hope she is doing well. Memorial Day has passed one more time. The cemeteries looked good although it looked like there were fewer flowers around as usual. This could have been caused by all the rain showers----we put ours down in the rain! My daughter said she guessed she wouldn't melt.
Our condolences to all who have lost loved ones lately. Seem to have been an abundance of funerals in the past weeks.
The Wilke family celebrated a reunion at the Lutheran Church last Sunday.
Polly Solberg was in Great Falls last week for a few days, attending graduations, etc., and visiting relatives.
Dora Henry's granddaughter, Callie Cribley, and great-grandson Declan paid a quick visit to grandmom's house this week. They live in Warrenton, Virginia so had to leave to make air connections. Every minute counts though.
I am so thankful for all the different flowers that are coming up and blooming. Just wish they would last a little longer, but the rains and wind are hard on them.
Velyma Broadhead’s daughter, Donna, has been here for a week helping with her outside work. Her yard is always beautiful, and neat. So nice to see the flag spruced up again.
The kids finished school last week but start summer school again this week.
Congratulations and best wishes to all the birthdays and anniversaries this week. May you have many more!
They say a person needs three things to be truly happy in this world. Someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.
Have a super week and enjoy all the sunshine we are having, and maybe perhaps carry an umbrella.
