One Nation, Under God
Happy Birthday greetings to all who are celebrating in May!
The Whitewater Community attended the funeral of Bill Murdock on Tuesday. It was held at the Milk River Pavilion. Lunch was served following the service.
Bill was a lifelong resident and will be missed.
Whitewater graduation was last Friday. It was well attended with many out-of-town guests. A silver tea followed. Congratulations to all grads & the 8th-grade class.
Sunday was Malta’s graduation. Jon and Seth Siewing graduated as well as Kirsta Meisdalen. Congratulations to all. Best wishes for the future. After graduation, I attended a lovely party for Jon and Seth. A very nice lunch and good company.
Paul’s sister helped me there. Thanks to her.
Farewell and God Bless to the Wisher family. Pastor Wisher was the Pastor of the Whitewater Baptist Church for years. Pastor Stenswick and Adam Hellie are now acting pastors of the Baptist Church here in Whitewater.
Here in Whitewater, the air is smokey and it is hard to breathe. They say the smoke is coming from fires in Alberta, Canada. It is strange that the smoke will blow so far.
My granddaughters and families live in Edmonton and in Medicine Hat. Most of the fires are in the forests. Let’s hope they get out soon.
Beware of fires here in our Montana. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If you are going camping be sure campfires are out when you leave.
Happy Memorial Day!
Helen A.
