One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, May 17, 2023

We’ve had a few days of gentle rains this week so the prairie is really greening up! Cindy and I took a drive to a secret spot that grows certain wildflowers and we were not disappointed! The hillsides had plenty of crocus and yellow bells. I’ve seen them as early as April 9, but this year the land was still under snow cover. I then drove a little further and saw some American avocets along with some ducks in a slough!

It’s nice to see the water and shorebirds!

Our community has been rocked to the core with the passing of Bill Murdock! He has been a long-standing hard-working rancher in this area. My deepest condolences to the family.

The Whitewater Penguin track team did very well at the district meet and now the whole team qualified for the divisional meet! Good luck to all!

Jana Wisher drove over on Thursday to spend a while painting with me! We had fun! It’s always important to spend time with friends.

Don’t waste any time doing something that is detrimental to your well-being.
