One Nation, Under God
The following reached the PCN newsdesk at 2:09 p.m. on Friday, May 19, and will not be printed.
A small section of Dry Fork Road in Phillips County will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic May 23 while Bureau of Land Management staff repair a damaged culvert running under the road.
Malta Field Office staff are coordinating the temporary closure with private property owners along the road, as well as Phillips County emergency services providers. The repair site is located about midway between the towns of Zortman and Sun Prairie. Work is anticipated to require about 6-8 hours to complete.
Currently, the culvert area is marked with road construction signs and red and silver reflective flagging to warn drivers of the potential hazard area.
