Soup is Great Anytime!

Anytime you are lucky enough to tuck into a bowl of steaming homemade soup, it is a great time.

So soup will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at the Malta Senior Center when they join forces with the American Legion garage sale at the VFW. We encourage you to take part in the sale, build up your appetite, and head over to the senior center for nourishment to carry you through the day.

The free-will offering will go towards the awning that will be constructed starting in late May, or early June on the front of the center.

The center is decked out for spring/summer and is pleasant to the eye.

Some soups will be two all-time favorites: split pea and chili; creamy potato; yummy chicken noodle; cheesy potato kielbasa, and creamy Kosher pickle soup. You read that right! Pickle soup. Ever tried deep-fried pickles? Pickle lovers can’t get enough of them. So come support the center and enjoy a variety of soups not to mention the dessert bar that will be set up. Around seven tasty desserts to tempt your taste buds as you visit with family and friends.
