One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, April 26, 2023

The potholes in the pastures are full! Still have some snow in the coulees and tree shelter belts. And yet it even continues to snow in small amounts!

When I was in Havre last week, I stopped to visit my Aunt Theresa Cowan. She is doing well, misses Tim but working through the broken heart!

I’ve seen many motorhomes on their way north! Must mean that the snowbirds are coming back.

Cindy Clark and Whitney Blunt were models for the Family Matters/Malta Kids Club Spring fundraiser. They both looked great! It was on Facebook Live.

Mylee Clark participated in a junior high track meet in Havre on Saturday. Her nana traveled to Havre to cheer her on. She also had her aunt and uncle from Great Falls there, Robert and Rebecca Engum. Her parents and siblings also cheered her on!

Two other Loring youngsters were competing in Havre also, Samuel Simonson and Gracie Wasson. Everyone did a great job especially since they didn’t get to practice outside!

Lu Besel and I attended a Montana Dinosaur Trail meeting in Chinook on Saturday, it was very informative! Most of the trail facilities were represented.

The Loring community sends sympathy to Renee Wasson on the death of her mother. Also, deep condolences to Jennifer Johannesen and her family on the loss of her son, Kyle Johannesen.

Enjoy the warmer weather this week.
