One Nation, Under God
We returned from Billings on Tuesday evening and had rain in places all the way home. We were very surprised at the amount of snow that had disappeared. Then on Wednesday, it rained all day in spurts, finally seeing the sun again on Thursday. On Friday the weather station at Glasgow called to have someone check on a suspected ice block that might cause major flooding. The block seemed to be about two miles west by the Milk River bridge. We were put on an alert for flash flooding for several hours, but it never came.
Then on Sunday, there was some confusion in reports around Dodson of a problem out on Savoy Road. Also, someone called about a possible missing person. Sunday was a nice day, warm and sunny with only a slight breeze so yards were drying up a little.
The river is full and flooding out in many places, so we hope the cooler nights help slow the flow down. Hopefully, the ranchers have all had luck getting their cattle on higher ground and are able to get to them with feed, etc.
Birthday greetings are sent to Don Wilkes and all others having a birthday this week. Congratulations are sent to anyone having an anniversary -----And many more.
A good wife laughs at her husband's jokes, not because they are clever, but because she is.
Enjoy the new week------watch the water and mud----stay safe and enjoy that spring is finally trying to peek in here somehow.
